Parkland Nails & Spa ("we", "our", "us") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting any personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.

• Contact details — name, phone number, and email when you book, sign up for text updates, or contact us.
• Appointment information — services requested, preferred technician, date/time, and any notes you share.
• Visit history — past services received, technician assignments, and amounts paid.
• Site usage — basic anonymous analytics (page views, device type) via Google Analytics.

2. SMS / Text Message Communications

Parkland Nails & Spa operates two separate SMS programs. You may opt in to either, both, or neither — each one requires its own explicit consent on our sign-up form, in person, or over the phone. We will never send messages from a program you have not opted into.

2.a Appointment Reminders (transactional)

• Message types: appointment confirmations, 24-hour reminders, day-of arrival notes, reschedule and cancellation notifications.
• Frequency: up to 4 messages per month.
• Use case registered with Twilio: Account Notification / Appointment Reminders.

2.b Promotions & Specials (marketing)

• Message types: seasonal offers, new-service announcements, customer-appreciation specials, Happy Hour and birthday discounts.
• Frequency: up to 4 messages per month.
• Use case registered with Twilio: Marketing.

Common to both programs:

• Carrier: messages are sent via Twilio. Standard message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Opt out at any time: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe from that specific program. You will receive a final confirmation that you have been opted out. After opting out, you will no longer receive SMS messages from that program.
• Help: reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at (754) 271-7050 or contact@parklandnails.info.
• No sharing: mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The information you provide for SMS will only be used to deliver messages from Parkland Nails & Spa.
• Consent is not a condition of purchase — you can book and receive services without subscribing to either SMS program.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To schedule, confirm, remind, and modify appointments.
• To process payments and maintain a record of services provided.
• To send promotional offers, only to customers who have opted in.
• To improve our services and respond to your feedback.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the business (e.g., booking system, SMS carrier, payment processor), and only to the extent required to perform their services. We will disclose information when required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain customer contact information and visit history for as long as you remain a customer and for up to 24 months thereafter, unless you request earlier deletion. SMS opt-in records are kept for the duration of your subscription plus an additional 2 years to satisfy carrier audit requirements.

6. Your Choices

• Request a copy of the personal information we hold about you.
• Request correction or deletion of your information.
• Opt out of SMS at any time (reply STOP).
• Opt out of promotional emails by replying with "unsubscribe".

7. Children

Our services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children. Customers under 18 must have a parent or guardian present during their appointment.
