2. SMS / Text Message Communications (Customer Care)

Parkland Nails & Spa operates a single transactional SMS program for appointment-related customer care. We do not send promotional or marketing text messages. Opt-in is always explicit — via the unchecked consent checkbox on our online booking form, in person, or over the phone.

• Message types: appointment confirmations, 24-hour reminders, day-of arrival notes, reschedule and cancellation notifications.
• Frequency: up to 4 messages per month.
• Use case registered with Twilio: Customer Care.
• Carrier: messages are sent via Twilio. Standard message and data rates may apply from your wireless carrier. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
• Opt out at any time: reply STOP to any message to unsubscribe. You will receive a final confirmation that you have been opted out.
• Help: reply HELP to any message for assistance, or contact us at (754) 271-7050 or support@parklandnails.info.
• No sharing: mobile information will not be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. The information you provide for SMS will only be used to deliver appointment-related messages from Parkland Nails & Spa.
• Consent is not a condition of purchase — you can book and receive services without subscribing to SMS.

3. How We Use Your Information

• To schedule, confirm, remind, and modify appointments.
• To process payments and maintain a record of services provided.
• To send transactional SMS (appointment confirmations, reminders, arrival notes, reschedules) only to customers who have opted in via our booking form.
• To improve our services and respond to your feedback.

4. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share information only with service providers who help us operate the business (e.g., booking system, SMS carrier, payment processor), and only to the extent required to perform their services. We will disclose information when required by law.

5. Data Retention

We retain customer contact information and visit history for as long as you remain a customer and for up to 24 months thereafter, unless you request earlier deletion. SMS opt-in records are kept for the duration of your subscription plus an additional 2 years to satisfy carrier audit requirements.

• Request correction or deletion of your information.
• Opt out of SMS at any time (reply STOP).
